We find the world's best fruit, land it in London in perfect condition, and hand it to you next-day. Boxes you'd gift. Subscriptions you'd keep. An atlas of the tropics you can eat.

The story
Fruit Plug started in London in 2022, out of a simple frustration: the best fruit in the world wasn't reaching the UK. Mangosteen travelled as an afterthought. Rambutan arrived bruised. Miyazaki mango was a photograph on a Japanese department-store window.
So we went sourcing. Direct growers in Thailand, Vietnam, Peru, Brazil, and Japan. Flights scheduled to the shelf-life of each fruit. A cold-chain that starts at the farm, not the airport. Packaging designed around the softest variety we carry, not the toughest.
The rest was social. A camera on every unboxing, every cut, every first bite. Four years later, the feed is a library of 151 million+ views and the waiting list for Miyazaki is open four times a year. Same job, bigger basket.
How we source
We know the growers. Single-farm for the premium line, co-op for the everyday. No wholesale middle layer, no grey-market fruit.
Reefers at the farm, refrigerated trucks from Heathrow, climate-controlled storage in NW10. Soft fruit stays soft, not mushy.
Order by 11am Mon-Thu, on your doorstep the next working day. Insulated boxes, ice packs in summer, tracked end-to-end.
From the founder
I started Fruit Plug because I wanted to eat fruit the way I'd eaten it abroad — ripe, aromatic, grown for flavour rather than shelf-life. Four years in, the brief hasn't changed. If a box doesn't land the way it should, write to me personally. We'll fix it.
Pick a curated box or build your own from 26 fruits. UK next-day, freshness guaranteed.
