The single most-photographed dessert in central London restaurants. Two passion fruits on a cheesecake transform it from supermarket to fine-dining.
Per serving
- One slice of vanilla cheesecake
- Two wrinkled passion fruits (or one honey passion + one maracuya)
- A teaspoon of double cream
Method
- Halve the passion fruits. Spoon all the pulp — seeds and all — into a small bowl.
- Stir the cream through it once. Don’t over-mix; you want the pulp glossy not thinned.
- Spoon over the chilled cheesecake slice. Serve within five minutes.
